Small Animal Boarding

At the Pig Sty we have vast experience of caring for small animals and have facilities to accommodate indoor or outdoor small animals (excluding exotic animals). Our aim is to provide a 'home from home' boarding service for your pet that will be loved and cared for like our own, we believe in providing the best!!!
Accommodation:
Our outdoor rabbit and guinea pig hutches are spacious and comfortable and your pet will be provided with daily access to exercise and grass. We also have indoor accommodation available for hamsters, gerbils and house rabbits / guinea pigs. However, if preferred, you are more than welcome to supply your pets own accommodation.
Feeding:
We do encourage owners to bring their bunny's own dry food as tummies can be sensitive to diet change.
Fresh vegetables / fruit are served daily along with their complete dry food and fresh, good quality hay to munch on.
Bedding is changed regularly throughout their stay and all our accommodation is thoroughly disinfected and pressure washed after each pet has vacated.

Guinea Pigs / Rabbits

£2.50 per cage per day
*We are only able to accommodate 3 guinea pigs or 2 rabbits in one hutch - please contact us for information about our 'Multi Pet' Discount*

Nail clipping is available on request by an Experienced Veterinary Nurse.
Please Note:
All animals boarded are subject to 'The Pig Sty’s' Terms and Conditions
For your rabbits welfare we do not accept any rabbits that have not been vaccinated against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (VHD) - up to date vaccination certificate must be supplied. (Vaccination should be done atleast 3 weeks prior to boarding).
