Dog Walking

Matt_and_pups2Exercise is beneficial to dogs as it allows them to release both physical and mental   energy along with being a great way to keep them fit.

If a dog is left for long periods by themselves they may become bored, this can sometimes lead to destructive behaviour.

As with people, exercise is a great way to help keep dogs healthy. Walking your dog regularly helps keep their heart, lungs and muscles in good working order.

Reasons to use a dog walker -

  • You work long hours and can’t get home during the day to let your dog out
  • You can’t walk your dog due to injury / illness or you’re just finding it harder to get around
  • If your dog is on a diet and needs extra exercise

What dog walking involves -

Your dog(s) will be collected from your home and walked for either 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Their walk will take place in your local area, either within walking distance or if your dog is happy travelling, a short car trip away.

Your dog(s) can be walked alone or in a small group (all owners must consent). For safety reasons and to ensure all the dogs receive alot of personal attention, no more than 3 dogs are walked at one time.
Bitches in season, uncastrated males over 9 months old, dogs in training and nervous dogs will always be walked alone.

Dog walking can be arranged on a daily or ad hoc basis.

If you are interested in the Dog Walking service, a free consultation can be arranged at a time suitable for you.
